Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 23, 2026
Last Updated: April 23, 2026

Cemera Parts Inc. (“Cemera,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of the businesses and individuals who use cemeraparts.com and our related services (collectively, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope

The Site is a business-to-business wholesale platform for approved customers in the heavy-duty truck aftermarket parts industry. This Privacy Policy covers information we collect from authorized business users, prospective customers, and visitors to the Site. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or Manufacturer sites linked from the Site; those are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

Business account information. When you request or use a Cemera account, we collect business name, legal entity type, address(es), federal tax ID (EIN), resale certificates, credit references, and the names, titles, email addresses, and phone numbers of the employees you authorize to act on your behalf.

Order and transaction information. We collect order history, invoices, payment method details (processed through our payment processor — we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers), shipping preferences, and warranty and return records.

Communications. We collect messages you send us by email, phone, web form, or chat, and we may record customer-service calls for quality and training purposes where permitted by law.

Quote requests and part requests. When you submit a quote request or ask us to source a part, we collect your name, company, and email address and, if you provide them, your phone number, PO number, notes, the part numbers and quantities you request, and any vehicle details you include (such as make, model, year, or VIN). If you load a parts list into Quick Order, the file itself is not uploaded: the part numbers in it are sent to the Site to find matching Products, and the part numbers and quantities you add to your cart become part of your quote request.

Website chat. Our website chat is provided by LeadConnector (the HighLevel platform). Chats may be answered first by an automated assistant, with our staff following up. We keep chat messages and any contact details you enter in the chat.

Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in Section 5.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, health data, biometric data, or precise geolocation. The Site is not directed to consumers, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • evaluate and approve account applications and extend or adjust credit;
  • process, ship, invoice, and service orders and returns;
  • administer Manufacturer warranty claims and core returns;
  • authenticate users, secure the Site, and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • provide customer service and respond to inquiries;
  • send transactional communications (order confirmations, shipment notices, invoices) and account-related notices;
  • send commercial communications about products, programs, promotions, and training where you have opted in or where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time);
  • analyze and improve the Site, our catalog, and our operations;
  • comply with legal obligations, including tax, export, customs, and anti-money-laundering requirements;
  • enforce our Terms and Conditions and protect our rights and those of our customers and Manufacturers.

4. How We Share Information

Cemera does not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers. Shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, LTL freight carriers), payment processors, hosting providers (including WP Engine), email and SMS delivery vendors, website chat and messaging providers (LeadConnector/HighLevel), site search providers (such as Algolia), security and web-font services (such as Google reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts), ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite), analytics providers, and professional advisors under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Manufacturers. When needed to process a warranty claim, core return, drop-ship order, or sales-program rebate, we share the minimum information necessary with the applicable Manufacturer.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulatory request, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cemera, our customers, or others.
  • Business transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to share information with a specific party (for example, a freight forwarder or a customer of yours).

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate users, maintain shopping-cart state, remember preferences, measure Site performance, and secure the Site against fraud and abuse. We may use analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) that set their own cookies and collect aggregate usage data. Our website chat and security services (such as Google reCAPTCHA) may also set their own cookies or collect device information under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit Site functionality, including the ability to log in and place Orders. Because the Site is a login-gated business tool, we do not honor Do Not Track signals.

6. Data Retention

We retain account, order, invoice, and tax records for the period required by applicable tax, commercial, and export-compliance laws (typically seven years in the United States). We retain security logs, authentication records, and fraud-prevention data for a shorter period consistent with legal and operational needs. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention schedule.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including TLS encryption in transit, role-based access controls, vendor due diligence, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your Account credentials confidential and notifying us at info@cemeraparts.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. International Users and Data Transfers

Cemera operates from the United States, and our service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that information we collect will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can update your account information at any time by logging into your account or contacting us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email or by contacting us; transactional messages about your Account and Orders will still be sent. You may also request that we correct, delete, or provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or restrict or object to certain processing. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law. Certain information (for example, tax and transaction records) must be retained even after a deletion request.

If you are a California resident acting in an individual capacity, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because the Site is a business-to-business platform, most information we hold is B2B contact data, which is treated under the CCPA’s business-context provisions.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to Manufacturer sites, parts databases, shipping-carrier tracking pages, and payment processors. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties; review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is posted on the Site with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to Account contacts where practical. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
