Cemera Parts wants every customer to be able to find parts, request quotes, and manage an account on this Site, including customers who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation.

Our Goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. We are working toward that goal and review the Site as we add features.

What We Do

  • A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
  • Menus, tabs, and buttons built from standard links and buttons so they can be reached with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines. The Products menu closes with the Escape key.
  • Text labels on form fields, including the search box, Quick Order, Cross Reference Lookup, and the quote request form.
  • Text descriptions (alt text) on product photos.
  • Text and background colors checked against WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Pages that work on phones without sideways scrolling.

Known Limitations

  • Product photos and descriptions come from manufacturers. Many photo descriptions simply repeat the product name, and some products show a placeholder image until a photo is available.
  • Some features come from third parties that we do not control, including the website chat window (provided by LeadConnector) and security checks on forms (Google reCAPTCHA). These may not fully meet the standard.
  • Manufacturer documents, such as spec sheets or catalogs linked from the Site, may not be fully accessible.
